The TopHat®Thread Roughing Tap is a preparation tool for your shaft. It will roughly form threads for parallel screw on points. The rough thread makes attaching points more consistent and smooth.

Instructions
Use the
TopHat®Assembly Tool to hold the
TopHat®Thread Roughing Tap and screw it all the way on to your shaft, now remove the tap and screw on your point.
