Great points by TopHat, where other points might sometimes turn a bit loose over time, this point stays nice and tight because of the standard rubber o-ring. Just like points for wooden arrows, these points are a tiny bit wider than the shaft, making it easier to remove the arrow from the target.
This classic bullet shape is a very common model point. You see it a lot, in for example, Fita target shooting. It’s round shape makes it a bit more target friendly and easier to remove.
