Product information "Buck Trail Nobleton ILF Riser"
This nice looking Buck Trail handle is made of beautiful wood in a luxurious laminate with the option to use ILF limbs and adjust the limbs laterally. This handle is available in both 17 and 19 inches in length, giving you the opportunity to shoot a 58, 60, 62 or 64 inch bow depending on the length of the limbs you put on there. Phenolic wood is used for this handle, meaning it has a very stable core and it is more resistant against humidity.
Specifications Buck Trail Nobleton:
- Limb fitting: ILF (International Limb Fitting)
- Grip: Pistol Grip
- Length: 17 or 19 inches
- Use: Both right- and left-handed
Points of attention when using ILF limbs:
All ILF limbs fit this riser, even the ones used on Olympic Recurve bows. Just be aware that the draw weights of these bows are usually measured on a 25 inch riser, unless otherwise indicated. For every inch shorter in length the draw weight increases with 1 lbs as a rule of thumb. A 30 lbs limb will thus produce about 36 lbs on a 19 inch riser.
Most limbs are available in 3 sizes (short, medium and long). This means with a 19 inch riser, the following combinations are possible to create a certain length bow:
- Short limbs: 60 inch bow
- Medium limbs: 62 inch bow
- Long limbs: 64 inch bow
With a 17 inch riser, the following combinations are possible to create a certain length bow:
- Short limbs: 58 inch bow
- Medium limbs: 60 inch bow
- Long limbs: 62 inch bow
