Avalon Tec X Micro Blade Rest

This arrow rest by Avalon is easy to micro adjust with the thumb screws, but you can properly tighten it down with an allen wrench as well, making it the best of both worlds. AAE Freakshow Compound Blade Rest

The "FREAKSHOW" is the toughest micro-adjustable target rest on the market today. Compound Arrow Rests

A compound rest is different than a recurve or traditional rest. Because you typically shoot a compound bow with a release aid, the arrow will have almost no sideways movement whatsoever. Because of this you will not have to use a plunger button and the arrow can be center shot. Within this category, there are different types of arrow rests.

Blade Rest

the Blade Rest is the most used type within target archery. The arrow is resting on a thin metal blade with which you can vary in width and thickness. With these variations you can more easily fine tune your initial arrow flight. Because this rest usually doesn't have a lot of moving parts, it's reliable and precise.

Double Prong Rest

Double Prong rests are easy for starting archers and people who like to vary in arrow diameter. Because you can adjust the prongs to be more narrow or wider, shooting different diameters of arrows is no issue. You can adjust the rest in such a way the arrow will have good clearance, meaning the vanes will not hit anything on the way out.

Drop Away Rest

A drop away rest is ideal for shooting arrows with big or high profile vanes. Because the fork the arrows lie in will drop away (hence the name) before the back of the arrow reaches the bow, the arrow will get a clear path to the target without any obstructions. The rest will not slow down or influence the arrow's flight when tuned properly.

Full Capture Rest

A full capture rest is often used by hunters and 3d archers. Because the arrow is 'fully captured' on three or more sides, it will not drop off the rest when moving the bow in a tight space or when drawing back. Because the shaft and vanes will have to pass through the brushes of the rest, it might affect the speed and path of the arrow.
