TopHat®Thread Roughing Tap and screw it all the way on to your shaft, now remove the tap and screw on your point.
With the TopHat Shaft Shaper it is possible to compress your arrow in a responsible way so it has the right diameter for placing a parallel point. Wood might slightly vary in diameter, with this tool you can make the discrepancy dissapear.

TopHat®Shaft shaper technology:The TopHat® Shaft- shaper set is composed of ftwo elements. A basepiece can be placed on the drilling machine and the desired attachement can be placed on the basepiece. Put the drilling machine on a slow speed if possible. The shaft has to go into the attachement until it can’t go any further, keep doing this until there is no resistance.

The Bearpaw Taper Tool Parallel is designed and manufactured according to the specifications of an arrow manufacturer from England. By rotating the milling insert a parallel taper is milled out of the wooden or bamboo shaft. Parallel screw and adhesive tips can be pushed onto the shaft and fit perfectly.
